Vice President - Sales Operations - Interior Design Solutions - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS (6-10 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The incumbent will be a key part of the senior leadership team.
- Participating in management meetings and senior leadership discussions on key strategic matters.
- Building a cohesive risk management strategy across customer life-cycle - from lead generation to collections.
- Closely working with the CEO/Board to chalk out a growth strategy and business plan for the company to meet its vision and goals
- As a VP, you have the overall responsibility for creating, planning, implementing, and integrating the strategic direction of organization enhancing value for stakeholders
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth tracking
- Accountable for the P&L / all functions - business development, estimation and execution of Design projects
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision - instill cost optimization measures, and other processes
- As a technocrat, you maintain a constant awareness of the competitive landscape and industry developments that could enable expansion of target markets, customer base and technological capability.
- As a VP, Your business acumen enables long-term financial viability of the organization.
- You take total accountability for top-line and bottom-line targets and provide prompt, thorough, and accurate information to keep the board appropriately informed of the organization's financial position.
- As a Vision Holder you promote a culture that reflects the organization's values, promotes innovation, encourages good performance, instills accountability and rewards productivity.
Required Candidate profile
Must Haves :
BUSINESS STRATEGY
- Develop a strategic road map for that encompasses multiple organic & inorganic growth opportunities across target industry sectors.
- Set the direction for Product Development function to develop a futuristic target product portfolio considering in-house technological capabilities as well as opportunities for outsourced/acquired capabilities & cost-benefit analysis .
- Evaluate technology/business partnership opportunities and enable bringing them to reality
- Develop a 3-5 year business plan for the target markets that ensure attainment of company growth goals and profitability
BUSINESS OPERATIONS:
- Oversee the organization's fiscal activities including budgeting, reporting & auditing.
- Develop and implement operational policies that ensure consistent achievement of quality and sustainability standards across all businesses.
BUSINESS BRANDING:
- Set the direction for building the brand equity
- Represent the organization at industry meetings, trade shows, and other forums that create visibility as well as establish its image
BUSINESS NETWORK MANAGEMENT :
- Build & nurture a business network that includes key clientele, critical suppliers and other business partners
- Leverage on business networks to create value for the organization in terms of business, product & technological opportunities.
Experience :
Masters - Tier 1 Business School (Only)
Must experience - head / function head responsibilities(P&L - Sales & Operations)
