Vice President - Sales & Marketing - IT Services (10-16 yrs)

The Vice President- Sales and Marketing will be expected to lead the sales organization for the IT services business of a well known MNC which has a significant focus on providing Technology solutions for the Manufacturing and Automotive segment. The position is a key member of the executive team and contributor to the overall growth and success of the company.

The right candidate should have a solid background in the IT Product and Sales with exposure to Manufacturing Vertical (especially Discrete Manufacturing). Any experience specifically with Automotive segment would be an added advantage. He/she will have worked for a rapidly growing organization with a proven track record of selling technology services and solutions to Manufacturing organizations.

- This position will report to the COO of the Company.

- He/she will be a strategic leader with strong business acumen who thinks about the big picture and can build a scalable sales strategy while leading a high performing team.

- The ideal candidate will be known for his/her communication and influencing skills and ideally will have strong relations within the Manufacturing Industry fraternity.

- This position will require to travel 50-75% to client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a clear sales growth vision and strategy that is focused, disciplined and aligned with the company goals.

- Lead the IT product & services sales organization for the Company with a major focus on targeting Manufacturing Enterprises. Develop and implement a strong business strategy and organizational structure to grow the brand.

- Spearhead the Company's market positioning, devising the go-to-market strategy and partner programs, conceptualize service packaging and messaging.

- Identify and direct the organization to pursue high priority sales targets and to address customer needs and opportunities.

- Develop and manage key performance measures for all members of the sales organization, including setting specific compensation incentives for the sales team.

- Exhibit teamwork and communication to obtain and provide market feedback, competitive insights, service/solution pricing and other relevant information.

- Commit to teamwork and communication with the internal organization including active participation with executives in setting company strategy and direction as well as reporting on progress and receiving feedback.

- Provide the hiring and training guidelines and programs to strengthen the sales organization in terms of general business skills and channel expertise.

- Build enthusiasm within the sales team to grow the skill base of the individuals and generate a - can do- spirit towards growth.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Or Master's degree in relevant fields (e.g.Engineering, Sales, and Marketing) from Tier 1/2 educational background.

- Any degree or certification related to business processes in Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage.

- Minimum of 10 years of senior sales management experience in Consulting/ IT Services with significant experience in selling technology, consulting and services to Manufacturing

Enterprises.

- Successful experience in a fast-paced and growing company environment.

- Established a proven track record of success in B2B sales of IT services to Enterprises.

- Established track record in new logo acquisition (especially large enterprises) and repeat sales from existing clients.

- Strong financial mindset with P&L management experience.

- Successful track record building, managing, developing and retaining high performance of sales teams.

- Strong industry presence and connects.

- Experience in at least two areas- ERP, IOT, Enterprise Application, Analytics, and Automation.
