Vice President -Sales & Marketing
POSITION SUMMMARY:
- Looking for a passionate and well-rounded business leader who will be the custodian of our brand and all external engagements.
- S/he will own and drive outcomes across brand-building and marketing, admissions across programs, placements, industry engagements, alumni relations and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Branding and Marketing:
- Build a creative and impactful branding and marketing strategy.
- Conceptualize and drive communication to the external world including students, parents, schools, counsellors, industry, influencers.
- Use digital first strategies for rapid market penetration and brand prominence.
- Drive impactful PR consistent with our brand image.
- Create innovative brand messaging to guide content marketing and social media efforts.
- Provide insights for program enhancements and fine-tune marketing strategies in line with our brand image.
2. Admissions and Outreach:
- Provide hands-on leadership to senior team members driving outreach and admissions across the undergraduate program, Tech Leaders Program, Young Technology Scholars and PhD, and drive synergies and collaboration.
- Own and lead the entire outreach effort across on-ground and digital modes, and a close eye on attracting diverse applicants across socio-economic background, geography and gender.
- Own and lead the admissions process across programs and ensure that we meet our targets annually, with a very high and consistent bar on merit.
- Conceptualize and execute unique events and conferences for brand-building.
3. Industry Engagement, Careers and Placement, Alumni engagement:
- Build few strategic and deep industry partnerships with marquee companies.
- Build vast industry relationships and oversee careers and placements, including capstone projects, internships and full-time roles across various programs.
- Leverage diverse ecosystem of founders, entrepreneurs and own networking.
4. Leadership and team building:
- Provide strategic guidance as well as hands-on leadership to a large team across outreach and admissions, careers and placements and alumni engagement
- Drive a culture of high performance, collaboration within and across teams, and work to nurture and empower talent.

IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- MBA from Tier 1 business school, with a minimum experience of 15 years.
- Collaborative leadership and ability to nurture, coach and empower teams.
- Demonstrated experience and track record in B2B and B2C marketing.
- Strong storytelling ability and powerful communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across industry, academia, schools, students and parents.
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to drive execution and outcomes.
- Exceptional business acumen, data driven and tech-first approach and cross functional understanding.
- Understanding of marketing and communications in an education context. Prior experience in education is beneficial but not necessary
