Our client, a well funded food start up is currently looking for a Vice President Sales.

Working closely with and reporting to the co-founders, the VP Sales will be responsible for all national level sales development and growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be thinking strategically about sales growth in the FMCG sector, aligned with the current marketing and sales initiatives already in place.

Responsibilities include :

1. Regional and city specific sales management across modern and general trade retail.

2. Focused sales efforts on top 3 cities.

3. Managing the pan-India distributor relationships.

4. Build out the entire sales function over the medium term.

5. Monitoring marketing & sales budgets and taking action to achieve targets.

6. Work closely with the Marketing team to review and align strategy against sales.

7. Build out a team of business development, merchandisers, promoters and sales managers.
