Vice President - Sales - EdTech (10-18 yrs)
As global head, this person would have an ownership of revenue of multiple Business Units i.e.
- New Lead Business
- Account Management function
- Re-activation function
- Business Operations
- Responsible for the overall growth strategy of the Business Unit and achieving revenue targets with optimal sales cost.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create a culture of performance, goal achievement, customer empathy and consultative selling
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals
- Analyze the health of the business by interpreting key performance metrics
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required. Ensure process and system compliance
- Define optimal sales force structure. Hire, develop and train the sales team
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activities. Identify emerging trends and customer segments. Keep the leadership team and other company functions updated on trends and opportunities in the markets served
- Collaborate with the marketing team to establish marketing support, channel and partner programs
- Own regular business reporting and communication cadence with senior business leaders
- Sales & Resource Planning & forecasting
- Sales Incentive Planning
- Own Sales Business Ops i.e. EMI recovery, Quality of effort, Training & Sales enablement
Desired Skills/Experience :
This role involves :
- 10-15 years of experience in B2C/ Direct/ Inside sales with minimum 7-8 years of team leadership experience in sales. Edtech experience is an added advantage.
- Strong people leadership, influence and decision making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Solution oriented, data driven, learning mindset
- Ability to Pilot & Implementation of new strategic initiatives
- Exhibits great interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills
