Organization: A Microfinance Institution Reporting to- Director & CEO Brief about the position- S/he is responsible to take care of the risk management function of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities- 1. Identify and mitigate all risks particularly credit risks in operation. 2. Ensure a control system which protects the organization from all risks viz. operations, credit, environment, regulations etc. 3. Ensuring adherence to the parameters of best professional practice 4. Proactively take steps to identify risks in the operation and suggest control measures. 5. Serve as official spoke person for the Internal audit on all audit matters 6. Responsible for formulating and implementing internal control and audit related policies. 7. Explore new areas of risk and exposure for the organization. 8. Analyze current audit & risk management process & recommend to improve process & procedure to develop robust system 9. Evaluate all new products from risk perspective and suggest control measures. 10. Conduct periodic review of all product offerings by the company from risk angle. Skills & Experience Required- 1. Ability to engage with the internal & external stakeholders. 2. Strong presentation & communication skills. 3. Ability to lead a team of professionals. 4. Strong analytical skills 5. CA or MBA with at least 12 years of experience in Risk Management in financial sector. 6. CISA qualification will be desirable. 7. Experience in MFI sector will be an added advantage. 8. Degree/Diploma in Risk control practices will be desirable.
