VP Risk & Compliance

Looking for VP Risk & Compliance for MNC Captive in Gurgaon location.

- Ensure Operational risk framework implementation, Business Enablement and overall Ops risk oversight.

- Responsible to provide training and awareness on operational risk.

- Engage in key change management initiatives to ensure that operational risk exposure is considered and addressed.

- Managing operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting, and implementing effective mechanism which enforces monitoring and testing of primary controls.

- Driving the growth of the Risk and Compliance for Center of Excellence teams in Gurgaon and building the strategic vision for the function

- Take responsibility for execution of strategy and operational delivery

- Partnering and working with the Functional Heads to oversee the provision of Risk &Compliance services to the Global function in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs, managing any associated risks

- Partnering with the Global Center of Excellence Heads to oversee the function within the Shared Services in Gurgaon location

- Graduate or post graduate, with overall experience of 15+ years of experience

- Good understanding of Risk & Compliance function, including policies, services, systems and processes

- Relevant experience in Risk & Compliance preferably in BFSI or Global Capability Centers.

- Understanding of the services, structure and leadership of the current state GCC offering globally

- Experience of managing operations with a clear understanding of the likely risk landscape and how best to build effective controls

- Experienced change leader with proven experience of sponsoring complex change across multiple markets.

- Outstanding organizational and planning skills with experience of management of multiple complex programs / business transformations, with knowledge on when and how to re-prioritize, or escalate as required

- Strong commercial mindset to ensure build, interlock and oversight of all associated cost, budget, FTE and Governance related to multiple programs of work across the region

- Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment especially in the financial services sector

- Strong influencer who can bring together disparate and virtual teams and coalesce them around a common goal
