Our client is a leading financial institution seeking for an experienced individual for Compliance and Operations Risk as seasoned VP level Some of the key responsibilities will include : - The individual will be a Compliance Specialist in the Compliance Department in the Regulatory Change, Management Oversight and Risk group - Primary job responsibilities include assisting the Compliance officer team in activities to contribute to the independent compliance oversight. - Create and maintain a regulatory inventory - Update relevant policies to ensure they reflect regulatory requirements for FLU/CF - Contribute to compliance risk assessments. - Contribute to monitoring and testing coverage plans and related metrics - Monitor and test the effectiveness of the front line unit and control function compliance risk controls To be eligible for this role you will require : - Knowledge of legal entity governance is a desired skill for the role - Experience in understanding and interpreting new regulations and their impact across diversified businesses. - An aptitude for learning and remaining current on industry rules, regulations and best practices to help ensure that the firm's compliance program meets regulatory standards and strives for a best-in-class industry standard. - Strong verbal /written communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively engage stakeholders and foster collaboration among Compliance, the business and other control functions.
