Vice President - Quant Modelling/Data Scientist - BFSI

Our client is leading international bank operates over 30+ countries and employs approximately 100,000 people. They are planning to setup new team of model control office in India hence looking to hire senior Quant Modelling professional with Finance Management background.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Hands on experience in Model development/ Validation in Finance Management.

- Proficient in statistical analysis and modelling.

- Review, verify and validate finance-owned models and ensuring meeting governance standards.

- Lead and manage specialized quantitative independent model controllers

- Global stakeholder management and ensure high quality model validation support to functional model control managers at group level

- Responsible for providing analytical project management support

- Should be comfortable working in an IC role

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience

- Broad knowledge and understanding of trading systems

- Strong knowledge on Fund Accounting, Payments & Liquidity

- 12 years experience in Finance Management with 4 yrs in Quant Modeling preferred.

- Strong technical Quant Modelling/Data scientist skills

- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
