Vice President - Profit & Loss Analytics - Commercial Bank Portfolio

- To support the strategic PNL agenda across all commercial Bank's portfolios

- Responsible for initiating, defining, delivering and synthesising analysis to optimise the risk adjusted profitability of the business

- Measure and find better ways to measure performance of existing and future activities

- Influence deployment of marketing activities to ensure ability to test and learn, and enable measurement of performance against objectives

- Share analytical insight with the commercial teams

- Proactively drive strategy by challenging senior stakeholders where appropriate

- Work effectively with peers and management team to achieve shared business objectives

- Present and communicate results to influence senior level stakeholders

- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Risk and Business Intelligence teams to drive business value.

- Provide inspirational leadership demonstrating commitment to the strategic goals as well as focusing on execution and delivery

- Develop a high performing team through support / challenge / direction of direct reports

- Lead the vision / goals / objectives of the team

- Ensure professional development of direct reports through coaching and feedback

- Contribute to the wider colleague agenda of the PNL Analytics team

- Work effectively with peers and management team to achieve shared business objectives

- Take the initiative to identify new opportunities for enhancing/ streamlining services

- Formulate opportunities into proposals, share with the manager and implement

- Contribute to the wider colleague agenda of the PNL Analytics team

- Risk and Control Objective - Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, bank's Operational Risk Framework and internal Policies and Standards

Preferred :

- Experience analysing programmes through the lens of brand / customer engagement metrics as well as P&L value

- Industry knowledge (ideally experience with major international financial services firm)

- Understanding of statistical methods to enable appropriate interpretation of results
