Vice President - Product Management - EduTech

The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager, obsessed with user experience, resourceful, capable of guiding a team of product managers in executing fast and deliver beautiful product features in a deeply customer-centered way.

Responsibilities :

- Lead a thoughtful product strategy & define product roadmap that balances consumer, business, and technical priorities.

- Clearly define and communicate what a winning consumer product looks like, rally teams to build it and iterate until we get it right.

- Obsessively map the user journey and find creative ways to improve it; making it more delightful and responsive to the user's needs.

- Structure a product organization including product managers, UX & UI engineers around you that is designed for success and recruit a world-class team to help you execute our vision.

- Identify, validate and prioritize customer and business needs using product research methodologies to deliver new revenue opportunities while building new innovative experiences that will delight customers.

- Gather analytics and data to measure performance, drive informed decisions and identify areas to continually improve, even with imperfect information.

- Build consensus across our team, internal stakeholders and with external partners.

- Demonstrate expert understanding of agile development practices, understanding how to train and optimize team members- techniques.

- Find and track the right KPIs for the products to ensure efficient sustainable growth, engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

- Consider and support all the customers of Lead technology - from schools, parents teachers & internal teams - as you create and manage the product roadmap.

Skills And Qualifications :

- 5-8 + years of senior product management work experience, a mix of early and mature stage company experience is a plus. Experience in edutech or learning companies is a big plus.

- Demonstrated success in building and leading a high-performance product team

- Experience leading data-driven product strategies and roadmaps

- Track record of building consumer-facing products that both delight the user and exceed their business objectives

- Extreme proficiency in research, design, engineering and data analysis

- Effective decision-maker and can help teams understand the rationale and reasons for the product decisions and roadmap direction

- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

- Self-starter, independent and excellent at driving teams and projects

- Excellent communication skills at all levels small groups, large groups, and with executives
