Job Title: VP - Product Development

Location: Noida

Reporting to: CPO, who reports to the MD

Peers : 6 other VPs handling a mix of requirements of Buyers/Suppliers marketplace through three access media, Desktop, Mobile or APP

Reportees : will typically lead a team of 20 to 25

Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned business professional with core expertise in product management. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a track record of execution. You will be responsible for strategically driving the pro-active development of the road map of the product and its offerings. You will be required to use your technical and strategic expertise to improve the usability of the website / app and introduce new features over time.

Responsibilities:

- Build and evangelize short-term and long-term product vision in close partnership with the product engineering and design peers.

- Provide vision to see around corners and inspire innovation across the product organization.

- Use analytics tools to make smarter, more data-informed decisions.

- Stay on top of the competitive landscape to neutralize potential threats.

- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to phasing out of the product(s) across the entire portfolio.

- Inspire, motivate, develop and lead a team of technology and product management professionals to build and deliver world-class products that make a difference for our customers and foster the ecosystem of good.

- Proactively research, evaluate, and stay informed on marketplace, current products, technologies, and available third party solutions to maintain vision and meet our overall product strategy.

- Work closely with product marketing teams in creating product video, customer case studies, product data sheets and content for social media.

- Consistently improve our product offerings through rigorous testing, evaluation, and analysis of key measurements resulting in optimizing user experience.

Skills and Expertise:

Mandatory

- 9 to 15 years managing product development teams

- Experience working closely with UX researchers and designers

- Strong analytical skills working with data to make product decisions

- Demonstrated history of continuous learning and ability to stay current with technology and product trends

- Experience working in Agile or SCRUM process

Desired

- Experience of managing product development team for a high traffic website

- Experience of incubating technology based products/services

Education

- B.Tech / M.Tech from Tier 1 colleges

- MBA from Tier 1 colleges
