Job Title: Vice President - Product Control (Investment Banking).
Location: Chennai / Pune.
About the Role:.
- We are seeking an experienced Product Control professional to join our dynamic Finance team as a Vice President.
- In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the completeness and accuracy of trading book records, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet substantiation.
- You will play a key role in monitoring trading activity, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Oversee daily P&L reconciliation for trading desks, ensuring alignment with the trading book and accurate reflection of economic value.
- Investigate and resolve P&L discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Support risk identification and mitigation, providing financial insights to senior management.
- Maintain and analyze trading data for accuracy and completeness, delivering performance insights to traders and leadership.
- Prepare regulatory reports and support audit processes, ensuring accurate reflection of trading activities in financial statements.
- Communicate complex financial data clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate across functions to maintain alignment with business strategies and ensure smooth trading operations.

Requirements:.
- Proven experience in product control within an investment banking environment.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and products within relevant asset classes.
- Knowledge of investment banking processes and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong time management with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Preferred Qualifications:.
- CFA, Master's in Finance, or Financial Engineering.
- High level of control awareness and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
