Vice President - Private Banking - Client Lifecycle Management Operations - Bank (12-20 yrs)

This role will be focused on the execution of controls and tasks required in the Client Lifecycle Management process, with a strong focus on ensuring that client identification documentation, name screening and data capture activities meet the Bank's policies, standards, and applicable local legal and regulatory requirements.

- Handle a team supporting Private Banking account change in circumstances and report directly to PB Head of Client Lifecycle Management Operations.

- Overlook the Client Maintenance, Periodic Renewals and remediation teams.

- Handle the team's daily work volumes, within established deadlines and in accordance with existing policies and procedures. Conduct resource planning and task allocation.

- Manage Team performance against key-metrics and performance objectives, consistently helping team meet CLM SLAs

- Seek to uphold the highest standards of control, always keeping data integrity in mind while carrying out day-to-day tasks.

Act as Subject Matter-Expert in various aspects of the account maintenance / Change-in-Circumstance processes that includes but not limited to change of Beneficiary Owner and various capacities, Tax topics like FATCA and AEI, Investment Suitability and other mandatory requirements to ensure all accounts satisfy the required regulatory and policy standards

- Manage key business partners in Front Office, COO, Tax, Risk, Compliance, Platforms and IT from Australia locations.

- Stay relevant with the latest regulatory, policy and procedural requirements.

- Review the internal business policies and procedures and ensure they are aligned with the latest regulatory standards.

- Report higher risk matters or regulatory questions to the Financial Crime Compliance team.

- Provide support for any regulatory related, audit, review requirements.

- To prepare and conduct training on client maintenance processes as required.

- Deliver continuous operational improvements, in view of the changing operating and regulatory environment.

The Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team supports the APAC division with Private Banking account lifecycle management processes from maintenance to account closure.

This role will focus on supporting the PB Client Lifecycle Management framework for APAC clients and will require interacting with a wide range of Front Office employees as well as Legal, Compliance and Risk Management functions.

Qualifications :


You are expected to possess the below skills :

- 12-15 years of relevant client account onboarding and maintenance experience within Banking (Private Banking experience is preferred).

- Overall 15 -20 years of working experience in Banking or Financial Services Consultancy firm.

- Previous experience in handling a large team and coordinating with onshore teams and can balance multiple tasks.

- Experience in organizational change

- Outstanding proficiency in excel and power point.
