About the Role :&nbsp; - The company is looking for a Vice President - People and Culture to oversee best-in-class people organization and global workforce. We are seeking a seasoned yet nimble people leader with proven ability to execute, build scalable processes and systems within high-growth organizations on an international level. - This position will require you to lead all aspects of people organization. A strategic leader responsible for partnering effectively with the senior leadership team to develop and build out multiple key initiatives and programs that are aligned with the organization's business plans and strategic growth objectives. You will be responsible for organization-wide people planning and execution and ensure that the organization has the best possible talent and policies/programs that will help develop, transform and sustain our core values, culture, and safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :&nbsp; - Report directly to the CEO and lead our people strategy. - Become an organizational and cultural force who charts the path of how our company should be organized, grow and scale globally. - Partner with other leaders in the organization to understand short and long-term priorities; ensure strategic alignment that will meet overall goals of the organization. - Offer strategic leadership in planning, development, and management of People Operations. - Anticipate growth and training needs, creating accountability, while developing managers and leaders. - Develop thoughtful, well communicated implementation of people policies. Serve as a trusted resource and thought partner to your team members and senior leadership. - Oversee new hire acquisition and development and provide strategic direction to scale onboarding initiatives, maintaining highly rated employee ramp up and engagement metrics. - Build and develop competitive, parity driven compensation strategy across multiple disciplines. - Oversee workplace investigations and make recommendations regarding employment actions; ensure all matters are handled in an equitable and consistent manner. - Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with all center, state, and city legal and regulatory requirements for labor and employment practices. - Provide objective and strategic input and guidance to employees at all levels of the organization including career development, and general management / employee relationship issues. - Identify and implement training and employee rewards/recognition programs. - Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value added services for the benefit of the employees. - Develop and manage annual budgets for the department and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses. - Maintain an effective level of business literacy including company goals, mission, financial position, strategy, competition, technology and culture. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements for the position :&nbsp; To fulfil this strategic role, the VP must possess a broad range of business knowledge and leadership skills, including: - Vigilance in scanning the external environment to anticipate business/talent threats and opportunities. - Strategic thinking skills to work with the CEO and executive team to set direction. - Cross-functional business understanding with a P&amp;L orientation. - The courage and decisiveness, to prioritize, to succeed or to fail fast and move forward. - The conceptual skills to shape the organization to meet tomorrow's demographic challenges. - Financial acumen to broadly balance resources and understand the financial implications and trade-offs of investments in every aspect of the business, including talent. - Technological savvy to drive efficiencies and to engage the workforce through innovations in technology solutions. - A risk management perspective with regard to talent. - The ability to convey the importance of talent at all levels. - Develop and present organizational growth plan and budgets periodically to the leadership team and the board. - Legal literacy to help ensure a culture of compliance and integrity at every level of the organization and across borders. - Operational ability to ensure that the transactional aspects of HR are well executed in a world of fast-moving and changing expectations of the employee population. Education and Experience :&nbsp; - A minimum of 10 years of experience at senior management level managing HR functions with at least 3 years in Top Management Level. - The candidate should be Post graduate/MBA/PGDM or Business-related master's degree from a reputed University/Institute. - Requires outstanding interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization. - Proven ability to remain objective, discrete and exercise common sense at all times. Able to develop strong, trusting relationships within department and organization. - Thrives in a dynamic environment and able to work on various projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. - Experience in high growth start-ups is a plus.
