Role; Head of Market Operation & Risk

Level- Vice President

Role Purpose:

1- To establish and deploy robust operational and market risk framework that adhere to the company Operating

2- Principles to meet the strategic objectives of the organization and its clients related to Depository and Trading Operations.

3- To ensure timely, accurate and risk-controlled conduct of all operational related activities for the delivery of related to

4- Depository and Trading products and services to clients.

5- To promote a culture of constant improvement through innovation aimed at providing consistent and exceptional client experience, and enhanced productivity and organizational efficiency.

Experience:

1- 10+ years of relevant experience in a Trading & Depository operations and risk role in a stock broking firm.

2- In-depth knowledge of capital markets or wealth operations including an understanding of products offered by domestic stock broking firms & Depository participant

Key Responsibilities:

A) Financial

- Engage with the Head of Business Delivery in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.

- Supervise and approve periodic operational reconciliations

- Ensure relevant regulatory reports are prepared accurately and filed in time as required.

B) Client

- Monitor operational performance and ensure quality of service delivery; manage quality and quantity of employee productivity.

- Be the escalation point of contact to receive queries from stakeholders and provide optimal solutions with the required sense of urgency, while keeping the client and firm interest in mind

C) Risk and Governance

- Define, implement, and oversee fit-for-purpose policies and procedures within the defined operational framework, and the operating principles of the organization.

- To monitor market risks on a real-time basis and provide sound advice to management and front office on potential risks
