Vice President - Operations - Logistics/Repackaging Center

Responsibility:

- Lead and Manage all functions across the supply chain - operations (last-mile/ first-mile / fulfilment center/reverse logistics /Repackaging center) and planning to delivery an unparalleled customer experience

- Establish best in-class supply chain systems, processes and warehouses that track and optimize SCM productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets and deliver high growth business requirements. Lead the warehousing and supply chain management projects to create future capabilities & up gradation.

- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to achieve the plan.

- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day Operations to deliver the business and customer requirements. Automate and streamline process across all the spectrums of supply chain

- Liaison with the demand and sourcing team to understand the business needs and ensure customer service levels in terms of availability, in-time and in-full are met

- Set the best processes for stock management and ensure 100% stock accuracy across locations

- Manage the PnL of entire supply chain; ensure consistent higher service-levels, efficiency and productivity improvements across different legs of the supply chain to develop sustainable competitive advantage. Responsible for all Business Metrics - Cost, Quality, Service Levels and working capital.

- Negotiate, maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with vendors to develop cost competitiveness. Develop and implement an evaluation process to measure effective vendor performance and compliance to the organization's needs and quality measures

- Hire, Lead, train, evaluate, and develop team to ensure that the organizations supply chain strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets and to ensure smooth operations on a day-to-day basis.

- Ensure that purchasing team works with suppliers to achieve targeted delivery lead times while minimizing working capital investment.

- Manage staples repackaging centre including plan update and status, monthly production plan and forecast review, plan issue tracking and resolution and requirement fulfilment

- Responsible for Warehouse management, resource efficiencies and negotiations, process improvements, yields of all sub-segments and training of the executives. Develop systems and processes.

- Accountable for Budget preparation & it's compliance in the operation. Ensuring the compliance of Internal control policies and accountable for implementation of Quality & Safety policies & system.
