Vice President - Operations - Industrial Engineering

- The role is responsible for leading the complete manufacturing operations and achievement of operational goals and deliverables.

Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and executing the manufacturing strategy focusing on optimisation, supply chain efficiency, continuous improvement strategy, and quality improvement strategy supporting profitable growth for the organisation.

- Reviewing, controlling, maintaining and regularly reporting on the manufacturing activities to ensure profit plan expectation.

- Driving the manufacturing operations to world class plant recognition levels and implement industry leading best practices.

- Formulating and implementing suitable quality processes focusing on continuous improvement in all areas.

- Ensuring complete compliance with all local, corporate and government laws and regulations.

- Effectiveness in connecting with people and communicating effectively with all the stakeholders.

Profile

- An engineering graduate with a minimum of 15 years of total experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing industry.

- Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing systems, processes and products.

- Technical proficiency in all areas of manufacturing, supply chain management and quality standards.

- Prior experience of handling large teams, preferably across multiple geographies.

- Graduate from a top-tier college will be given preference.
