Job Description: VP of Operations
1.Appoint department heads or managers and assign responsibilities.
2.Evaluate the performance of the organization in meeting objectives and determine where costs can be reduced, what can be improved and what should be changed
3.Confer with staff to discuss issues, coordinate activities or resolve problems.
4.Take corrective action to solve organizational problems.
5.Leading departments and operations of the company.
6.Budgeting for multiple projects, including monitoring and controlling costs.
7.Guiding, directing and evaluating the work of management and executive team members.
8.Creating and implementing a strategic plan.
9.Leveraging company output to improve ranking in the competitive field.
10.Tackling unforeseen issues and troubleshooting.
11.Representing the company for external and internal events.
12.Monitoring the competitive landscape and attending industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead.
13.Identifying, training and developing leaders within the company and setting them on a path for management.
