Urgent Job Opportunity

Need : 9 -15 yrs

Location: Bangalore

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans for secured and unsecured lending operations, aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets. Responsible for the strategic planning of the business unit, including drafting annual budgets, strategic objectives, and goals.

2. Product Innovation: Identify opportunities for new lending products and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market. Oversee all digital technology infusion to enhance turnaround times (TAT) and operational efficiency.

3. Risk Management: Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to ensure the quality of the loan portfolio, including credit risk assessment, collateral valuation, and monitoring of key risk indicators. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

4. Operational Efficiency: Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Manage operating unit profitability according to the business plan, controlling branches' operating costs within budget to maintain cost control. Aim for early break-even of all operating units and manage operating expenses (OPEX) as per the business plan.

5. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of lending professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive field productivity and collection efficiency above industry standards.

6. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, partners, regulators, and internal teams, to support the growth and success of lending operations. Independently coordinate with client teams, rating agencies, and peers in other banks/financial institutions to manage relationships.

7. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of lending operations and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.

8. Portfolio Management: Responsible for new client identification, managing existing client portfolios, internal presentations, portfolio monitoring, and MIS to achieve overall departmental targets. Maintain portfolio quality within budgeted levels.

9. Loan Disbursement & Documentation: Oversee loan disbursement and documentation functions, including liaison with legal, compliance, and other teams.

Skills:

- Should have South Region experience.

- Deep understanding of lending products, processes, and regulations.

- Expertise in credit risk management and underwriting.
