Position: VP- New Business & initiative

Location: Bangalore, India

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Successful point of contacts in industries such as insurance, healthcare have validated our hypothesis that our core data platform can serve other industry segments that have the same problem statements: dealing with massive amounts of unstructured data to automate processes to deliver great customer outcomes and P&L savings.


We seek an entrepreneur who can:

- Research, identify and prioritize the next 2-3 industry segments we should enter, using parameters such as segment size, problem statement, business model, defensibility, entry barriers - e.g. regulation

- Work with internal teams to augment product and engineering capabilities for identified segments

- Develop and execute a phased GTM plan including (in-)organic strategies to accelerate time to revenue

- Scale these solutions across countries, languages, local regulations, etc.

- Hire and develop world class talent to run each vertical as its own P&L at steady state

We are looking for : 

- At least 15 years of experience in conceptualizing, launching, scaling product technology businesses

- Exposure to Domain experience in target verticals - e.g. healthcare, insurance

- Experience in running B2B SaaS businesses in India + 1 other market

PREFERRED SKILLS : 

- A Startup mentality: comfort with ambiguity, a willingness to test, learn and improve rapidly

- People leadership: building and developing a high-performing team across business, product, technology

- External facing skills: Influencing and negotiating with industry bodies, thought leaders, regulators, etc.
