Vice President - New Business & Initiative - IT (12-20 yrs)
Position: VP- New Business & initiative
Experience: 15+Yrs
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
We are looking an entrepreneur who can:
- Research, identify and prioritize the next 2-3 industry segments we should enter, using parameters such as segment size, problem statement, business model, defensibility, entry barriers - e.g. regulation
- Scale these solutions across countries, languages, local regulations, etc.
- Hire and develop world class talent to run each vertical as its own P&L at steady state
- Work with internal teams to augment product and engineering capabilities for identified segments
- Develop and execute a phased GTM plan including (in-)organic strategies to accelerate time to revenue
We are looking for :
- At least 15 years of experience in conceptualizing, launching, scaling product technology businesses
- Experience in running B2B SaaS businesses in India + 1 other market
- Exposure to Domain experience in target verticals - e.g. insurance healthcare
SKILLS :
- A Startup mentality: comfort with ambiguity, a willingness to test, learn and improve rapidly
- External facing skills: Influencing and negotiating with industry bodies, thought leaders, regulators.
People leadership: building and developing a high-performing team across business, product, technology.
