VP-Marketing - FMCG/Telecom/Ecommerce/Retail/Insurance/ Consumer Service Industry


- End to end responsibility for organization's branding & marketing

- Review category sales and actively plan advertising, promotion, consumer activation and branding activities for the product category

- Defining success metrics and reporting needs for campaigns

- Review market size, trends, consumer preference shifts, competition offer, price margins and other market parameters on a weekly/monthly/ quarterly basis at the regional and country level

- Review category wise monthly operation reports and plans course corrections based on business leadership inputs

- Own the marketing (Online and Offline) strategy. Manage branding, advertising, promotions, & communication activities ensuring maximum brand visibility

- Review competitive environment for product offers in the same consumer need space, market factors

- Drive collaboration with the consumer design team to develop possible design options for the product innovation and/or new product development

- Monitor execution of go-to-market strategy :

- Review spend of advertising and promotion budget to meet bottom-line business results as per plan and develops course corrections wherever needed

- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor engagement and facilitate resolution of issues to manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets by the team

- Creates innovative learning opportunities for the category

- Manage and support recruitment, set KRAs for direct reports, monitor overall department KRA's, conduct performance appraisal

- Accountable for identification of new products and/or innovation of existing products based on research and market intelligence within the product categories
