Vice President - Machinery Sourcing - Textile

- Responsible for development and implementation of Procurement strategy of CAPEX items for Green Field/ Brown field Project at Budhni.

- Handling sourcing through identification of cost effective vendors/ suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability..

- Budgeting & Cost comparison. Proficient in cost analysis.

- Technology finalization, verification of offers received from various suppliers and vendors and confirms the reliability

- Negotiate with vendors / channel partners to bring procurement within the targeted budget

- Responsible to orders and timely delivery

- Coordinate with site functions to solve critical issues originated from suppliers

- Maintain and optimize the purchasing process in compliance with business strategy and sustainability requirements

- Participate, spearhead and implement global project initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

- BE Mechanical with experience of 8-10 years in Textile machinery sourcing.

- CAPEX experience is must.

Preferred

- Working knowledge of SAP

- Good in building relations

- Adaptable and flexible in any situation

- Excellent knowledge of Textile market insights

- Strong product knowledge.
