Designation: Vice President - Learning & Development/ Talent Development - ITES/KPO/ Big4
Location: Bengaluru.
Role:
- Work with L&D Leader to create strategies with an emphasis on customer relationship to market new L&D products and solutions
- In collaboration with Learning Leader, create and execute Service Line specific partnership strategies for the L&D function
- Oversee the day-to-day L&D operations and L&D budget utilization across locations and service lines
- Provide leadership to ensure appropriate and adequate staffing of the L&D function, taking leadership to ensure that professionals with the required credentials, experience, and fit are recruited to fill positions that open up in the L&D function from time to time
- Collaborate with service line leaders, represent L&D, understand their business requirements, and propose appropriate learning solutions at the level of service lines
- Plan, lead, participate in, and deliver on national and global projects with cross-location teams
- Deliver workshops on topics based on needs that come up from time to time, including leadership, teaming, innovation, change management, and any specialized topics across locations
- Work with key stakeholders including other centers, service line leaders, operations heads, and peers to identify upcoming needs and lead initiatives aimed at catering to these needs
- Lead and participate in Global projects to bring about best practices and standardization
- Play a key role in contributing to L&D goal setting and management
- Set goals and conduct performance appraisal for team members
- Drive Senior Leadership training initiatives across centers
- Assist and support wide L&D Leader with new projects and initiatives
- Work with L&D Leader to design L&D long term strategy
- Work with L&D Leader to design the L&D organization
- Support L&D Leader with new projects and initiatives
Essential skills required
Education / professional qualifications
- Graduate & Post Graduate in any discipline
Experience
- Minimum 18 years of professional experience of which at least 15 in the L&D function of a large corporation
- Stand-up facilitation experience of at least 10 years
- Strong experience in managing projects
- Have excellent written and spoken English skills
Behavioral/team skills
- Demonstrate expert working knowledge of L&D concepts, theories, and processes
- Have working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Possess exceptional and demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills and have experience handling audiences from multiple functions and from entry-level to middle and senior management
- Possess outstanding interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills
