Job Description: Vice President, Finance, COE - FP&A
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage budget and quarterly forecasting process, including coordination and analysis of business unit reports and related financial and business reporting commentaries
- Implement, oversee and manage the continued development of the operating plan and modeling tools, and related analysis and business reviews
- Insightful business and financial analysis, effective reporting, and a performance management framework driving business decision making and accountability, enabled by enterprise-grade tools
- Support strategic planning process and any future acquisition analyses
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures, ROI/ROE
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variances
- Monitor costs with reviews of departmental expenses and key business unit expense categories
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis, and cost/profitability projects
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Evaluate business requirements for the budgeting and forecasting system and work with the financial systems support team to determine the appropriate solution
- The Senior Director would be responsible for ensuring that the business unit's finance staff maintains an environment of strict financial discipline and internal controls consistent
- Leveraging technologies to drive productivity and process automation
- Performance Management:
- Establishes mutual Serve Level Agreements (SLAs) through negotiation with the business
- Monitors ongoing performance against the SLAs and makes changes to processes as needed to achieve results
- Uses metrics and performance measures to drive continuous improvement and best practices
- Talent Management - Builds strong teams with a mindset that supports continuous process improvement and elimination of inefficiencies/ redundancies
Skills & Experience:
- 16+ years of experience in Finance (FP&A) and at least 5+ years of managing large teams preferably in global setup.
- Excellent management skills to provide leadership expertise to a ~100 team strong CoE which is in a growth mode
- Ability to quickly build a strong understanding of business drivers, market and economic environment across the areas we serve
- Demonstrated agent of change; Agile in approach and can pivot as needed
- Collaborates and build strong relationships to influence individuals across the company in multiple Customer Segments and Functions
- Deals with difficult customer (internal & external) situations with a professional and resourceful manner for resolution
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Solid English language skills are required
- Ability to distill complex data into a clear, concise executive-level summary
- Expertise in incorporating Automation in day to day Finance activities; Exert level knowledge of Automation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath and Python
- Ability to manage time zone challenges (majority of TR's employees are in Central and Eastern US time zones)
Education :
Accounting/Finance degree, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or MBA
