Vice President - IT Application Development - BFSI Industry

- Develop, implement and manage comprehensive IT Application management, governance & control.

- Formulating business and application transformation strategies by collaborating with business stakeholders, Infrastructure teams and the IT leadership

- Leading strategic IT initiatives and defining business and technology roadmaps for the company by providing thought leadership

- Responsible for all systems, applications and mobile applications' development and ongoing changes

- Ensure that project delivery meets time,cost and quality standards.

Must have:

- Experience and Ability to handle a committed and highly competent team of IT support personnel, solution architects, IT delivery managers to create and manage a world-class IT services organization.

- Stay abreast of technology trends and advise IT and the business about potential benefits/impact.

- Introduce new techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed.

- Lead the overall IT policy, standards, guidelines and procedures

Skills:

- BE / MCA with 15+ years of experience in IT Application Management - BFSI industry

- Ability to handle a large team - direct as well as indirect

- Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead and influence the organization, and team level decision making

- Extensive experience in driving large projects covering mobility, website online journey, machine learning, natural and speech recognition projects.

- Experience of managing clients as IT /ITES service provider would be added advantage.

- Hands on experience on IBM Portal stack, IBM Websphere, HTML5, CSS, JString knowledge, Java & COBOL.

- Working on multi-vendor projects and ability to track, monitor, mitigate and, resolve issues
