Vice President - Investor Relations

Job Objective:

- Develop and maintain the company's investor relations framework and plan.

- Serve as the key point of contact for the investor community.

- Monitor analyst reports and summarize insights for senior management.

- Organize investor events, including conferences, roadshows, earnings calls, and meetings.

- Prepare financial data and presentations for investor engagements.

- Lead fund-raising activities (both debt and equity), IPO, and Pre-IPO transactions.

- Manage investor relations communication and corporate public image.

- Conduct competitive analysis and identify investor engagement opportunities.

- Oversee the company's annual meetings and coordinate relevant activities.

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Impact on the Business / Function:

- Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and industry differentiation.

- Develop and implement the company's investor relations strategy and framework.

- Establish performance metrics for investor relations.

- Oversee the production of annual reports and manage investor-related content on the company website.

2. Customers / Stakeholders:

- Act as the primary liaison between the company and investors.

- Establish and maintain relationships with stock exchange representatives.

- Provide feedback to management on investor perceptions and strategic views.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (departments and executive committee members).

- Engage with external stakeholders such as analysts, shareholders, investment firms, investment banks, and stock exchanges.

3. Leadership & Teamwork:

- Summarize analyst reports for senior management.

- Organize investor-related events such as conferences, roadshows, and earnings calls.

4. Operational Effectiveness & Control:

- Monitor industry trends, investor sentiment, and competitor performance to provide strategic insights.

- Prepare investor presentations, press releases, and financial communication materials.

- Conduct thorough competitive analysis with financial benchmarking.

- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of investor-related data.

- Number of investor interactions and engagement initiatives.

- Provide senior management with timely and accurate investor insights.

Process & Efficiency:

- Feedback from supervisors and colleagues.

- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensure timely updates of investor-related information on the company website.

Requirements:

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

- Experience in investor relations within a publicly listed company of repute.

- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and quality orientation.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Customer-centric approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

- Effective time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field MBA/CA/CFA preferred

Experience: Minimum 10 years in investor relations, equity research, financial analysis, or corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a publicly traded company
