Vice President - International Tax Reclaims - BFS

Our client is a global bank and financial services with operations across the globe. As part of global operations, they are actively seeking an experienced individual at Vice President grade, to be part of their International Tax Team.

Some of the key responsibilities will include :

- Lead Tax Operations covering documentations, Claims, Withholding Taxes, Remittances, Tax Refunds and Regulatory Reporting.

- Assist clients on complex international tax environment, stringent capital requirements, tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions and management of operational tax risks.

- Also assists clients in filing refund claims for taxes over-withheld on cross-border investment income in multiple jurisdictions across the globe based on tax treaties

To be eligible for this role you will require :

- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services industry, preferably in International Tax, Reclaims, Withholding and Capital Gain Tax, Tax Refunds and Regulatory Reporting.

- A relevant qualification (MBA /CA) and Investment Banking/Asset Management experience.

- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role

- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output.
