Our Client is a leading manufacturing organization having its offices across the globe.
We are in search of VP - International Sales. The position is based in Mumbai.
Position Objective: Contributes to the overall growth of the organization by developing a market entry and penetration strategy for MEA markets along with growing sales with existing and new customers
Reports To: President
Detailed Role Responsibilities:
- Ensures achievement of Region wise and Product wise targets defined for the market.
- Directs the implementation of opportunity planning processes and drives initiatives to maximize revenue generation in each market and leads sales management in the region developing region specific execution strategies.
- Builds strong channel/distributor relationships and devises tactics to maintain close relationships with distributors and customers in the Region.
- Communicates marketing requirements and competitive data, including pricing, feature needs, and value proposition strategies to Product Stakeholders. Works with necessary teams and senior management to ensure market data needs of the Sales teams are being met, and issues are being addressed.
- Ensures total customer satisfaction through the life cycle of all relationships in the market.
- Develops scalable sales processes and procedures for the market while constantly innovating ways to improve the sales processes ensuring quality Customer support and out reach services are implemented throughout the region.
- Ensures systems and processes are in place for collections through out the region and highlights in time delays to payments that may occur.
- Acts as an ambassador and representative to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships in each geographic location
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field
- MBA from a reputed school
- Understanding or prior sales & marketing experience or opening up of MEA markets desirable
- Relationships with OEMs in these regions desirable
- 16 to 25 years of experience
- Established sales leadership record in these markets
- Industry knowledge is desirable
- Entrepreneurial mind set
- Ability to travel in the territory up to 50% of the time.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, suggest improvements to current systems, as well as establish new processes
- Excellent Communication skills
