Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities

- Set the vision, strategic roadmap and plan, establishing key objectives and deliverables, aligned to the global Ingenico technology vision. Establish technical direction and culture, ensuring that sustainability and innovation are embedded into both.

- Assess, recommend and deploy software, infrastructure and technologies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the target services, including both Ingenico local or group components, as well as 3rd party software and services.

- Assess, recommend and deploy appropriate IT strategy related to business and service operations, such as: datacenter management and maintenance, network infrastructure management, system and application monitoring, enhancements and upgrades, data security and control, test and validation strategy, support and business continuity.

- Define, agree and monitor budgets and staffing for IT, to support the business objectives and target service delivery levels.

- Build technical partnerships, establishing the necessary linkages with partner organizations (software, hardware, services) to establish the infrastructure and expertise to deliver on the business objectives. Develop and maintain links with external professional bodies and standards organizations.

- Define and monitor the security strategy for India, in coordination with Ingenico's Regional Security Officer and security teams, and comply with Ingenico guidelines for services operations.

- Work closely with the development/ engineering teams to align the plaforms and systems architecture and roadmap to the product requirements

- Work with the India & APAC marketing/ business development teams, and internally with the development/ engineering organization, to align solution scoping and availability with business requirements (functional requirements, optimized time to market and build/run costs)

- Act as the technical authority and validate technical design of the target solutions

- Perform and/or supervise the issuance and maintenance of product and services documentation, including functional and technical specifications

- Support the business teams on pre-sales activities (customer requests, RFI/RFP) from a technical solutions perspective

- Demonstrate and propose generic and custom solutions to customers, including overall solution architecture, functional requirements, and impacts on customer's environments, benefits and business models

- Review project plans in order to anticipate and coordinate project activity

- Build and package demonstration tools

- Identify opportunities and risks for the business, suggest remediation and/or mitigation measures.

- Own the Analytics requirements for the business and help the business teams take better business decisions by delivering the MIS and insights through appropriate tools.

- Set clear performance objectives for the IT team, diligently conduct reviews of team's performance, actively engage and manage talent, invest in training and competency development.

- Help the organization track relevant trends with regards to emerging technologies and the broader Technology/ Payments domains and take advantage of those trends in reducing cost and building better/ agile/ more reliable/ more secure systems.

Qualifications/ Experience :


- Engineering Graduate with several years industry experience, preferably with at least 3-5 years experience in a technology leadership role in Banking/ Financial Services domains. Recent experience in the Payments domain will be advantageous.

- Creative and out-of-box thinker with ability to blend it with research to define a clear technology strategy and execution plan.

- Experience of transforming operations methodologies based on lean agile principles with specific focus on DevOps

- Wide and in-depth knowledge of various technologies, including web/ application/ database servers, network infrastructure, systems and applications, Cloud, Mobile, and so on.

- Prior experience in designing and implementing transaction monitoring systems as well as data mining/ business intelligence systems will be an advantage

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to present information/ insights at the highest level.

- Strong project and program management skills, proven track record of delivery. Experienced contract execution including performance measurement and quality control for the provision of professional services.

- A proven leader, negotiator and relationship builder with a track record of delivering success through collaborative partnerships, both internally and externally.

- Proven ability to inspire & motivate disparate teams towards a common objective. Evidence of success in leading and directing technical activities in an - open innovation or collaborative environment, and of building and leading a high performance technology organization.

- Should be able to work in a dynamic environment and provide hands-on leadership.
