Vice President - Information & Technology - Online Marketplace - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Job Summary :

- The CIO will design and implement the information system architecture to support organizational goals. The role involves process engineering and identification of suitable technology/solutions to optimize various internal operations at Our Client.

- Overseeing integration of various applications currently in use and ensuring that they continue to evolve with growing organizational needs will be an important aspect of the job.

Tasks:

1. Develop the technology road-map and Design and implement the information system architecture to support organizations operational as well as analytical needs

2. Direct and organize IT projects

3. Ensure various tools/applications in use are functioning properly and periodically evaluate the effectiveness of these tools 4. Research new solutions and technologies and recommend changes

5. Interact with business to understand the process gaps and re-engineer the processes if needed 6. Hire, train and retain skilled resources for IT team

7. Design Information system security and usage policies and ensure compliances 8. Get periodic system audits done take measures to mitigate the risks identified during audits

Experience: 12-18 Years of experience process excellence role in a service based organization, of which the last couple of years should be in a senior leadership position

Skill Sets:

1. Strategic and operational planning skills

2. Ability to deep-dive and do in-depth research/analysis of key Business issues

3. Systems design and development process including requirements analysis

4. Ability to lead a team of technology professionals to get software and applications developed/implemented to solve business needs

Qualifications: MBA from IIM or equivalent with an engineering degree ( B Tech in Computer Science will be preferred) - A Grade- Universities
