Our Client is a well known Financial Services Firm with a foreign JV partner in the business

Job Title : VP - IT

Job Location : Mumbai

Job Responsibilities :

The role will be responsible for evaluating the existing technologies and processes, and additionally develop IT policies and guidelines that are in accordance with various regulations, enables the Organization's strategy. The incumbent will assess risk from an IT perspective and, proactively manage that risk and execute remediation actions

- Provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives

- Contribute to business planning by making executive decisions regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness such as purchase of IT equipment or creation of new systems

- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve outcomes

- Analyze the technology currently being used by the company, and recommend changes based on changing technology trends that gives the business an edge over the competitors; initiate the adoption of new technologies like big data, enhanced analytics

- Engaging with clients for influencing changes

- Strategic and tactical planning, product development and coordination of IT processes, systems and resources

- Prepare and present cost benefit analyses report to the key stakeholders; accountable for the Department's Capex and Opex

- Manage a team of highly skilled professionals and work towards bridging gaps, if any

- Propose new ideas on making workplace paperless and improving customer response of the company

- Keep abreast of technology landscape in the larger ecosystem like clients, FS industry, and latest relevant technologies.

Desired Qualification & Skills :

- Master's degree in Business Administration/ IT/ computer science or a related field

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with 5 - 6 years of experience in supervisory role

- Managed large customer facing enterprise real time applications

- Worked in matrix environment across geographies
