Major Responsibility Areas : - Strategic Human Resource Management - Employee Life-cycle Management - Industrial Relations Brief Summary : The overall management and development of all aspects of HR and Talent Management for the company, including: - Recruitment and Selection - Learning and Development - Talent Management - Management of the HR department - Compensation and Benefits positioning - Employee Relations / Industrial Relations KRAs : - Collaborating with management team to craft the company's vision and mission - Developing strategic HR plans and policies - Provide strategic senior leadership and direction for the HR function and consults with the company's senior leadership team on a broad array of issues related to human capital - Liaising directly with the executive board and being accountable for the performance of the HR function and the departments within it, as well as providing strategic counsel on all people matters - Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and talent acquisition - Providing dynamic and effective leadership and day-to-day management of the department and its operational activities - As a part of the Senior Management, will be responsible for identifying opportunities of organic and inorganic growth, and anticipating any potential risks associated with them. - Defining and monitoring Performance Metrics for Business in alignment with Annual and Strategic Plans - Reviewing Business Performance through monthly Operating &amp; Financial Review process and help them in meeting their business objectives. - Partner the management team to project manage organisational and procedural changes within the business area. - Be responsible for all HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, mentoring, salary and conditions, contracts, training and development, talent management, succession planning, driving performance appraisals and any other HR /IR related issues). - Lead the work to regularly review the company's talent management processes within the business areas, including performance/potential management, resource planning and succession - Provide insight and recommendations on HR initiatives that can be leveraged to strengthen business results e.g. leadership/development programmes. - Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescale - Liaise with Directors and Managers to understand their HR requirements and ensure they are fully informed of the corporate HR strategy. - Develop proactive measures to maintain a healthy ER environment in the plants &amp; ensure adherence to compliance of all Labour Legislations. - Ensuring that the overall discipline and work culture of the plant is of high order and that all standing orders and practices are implemented in right spirit. - Resolving crisis and settlement of IR issues; facilitating cordial industrial relations, managing enquiries and aligning the wages structure - Ensuring wage and salary administration of the plant personnel. - Handle all court cases related to the IR Acts / Factory Act of the plant. - Responsible for managing harmonious industrial relations &amp; ensure amicable solutions to the complex Industrial Relations issues. Education : MBA-HR, preferably from a Premier Institute Exposure : Mandatory Experience both in HR &amp; IR
