Human Resources Business Partner (Technology)
Role Summary:
The Vice President HR Business Partner (Technology) is a strategic HR leader responsible for aligning human capital strategies with the business objectives of the Technology organization.
This role partners with senior technology leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and cultural transformation, ensuring the tech function is equipped to deliver high performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Strategy: Lead workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development for the technology organization.
- Organizational Design & Effectiveness: Advise on org design, change management, and capability building to ensure scalable and agile tech teams.
- Performance & Culture: Drive performance management processes, reinforce a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment with organizational values and leadership behaviors.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and execute initiatives to enhance engagement, retention, and employee experience across global tech teams.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Partner with leaders to embed inclusive practices and promote diversity in hiring, promotions, and team culture.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use people analytics and dashboards to identify trends, guide decision-making, and measure HR impact.
- Business Integration: Act as a trusted advisor to the CTO and tech leadership, ensuring that HR strategies are fully embedded in business operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience working with senior leaders in a matrixed, fast-paced, and global tech environment.
- Strong understanding of technology business models, software development lifecycle, and the unique needs of engineering and product organizations.
- Expertise in talent strategy, org design, change management, and leadership development.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influence, and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field; MBA or Masters in HR is preferred.
