Location: Kolkata / Mumbai (with frequent travel across Kolkata, Mumbai and Gurgaon) 


Designation: Vice President (Head- HR)


Role Description:

- You will have end to end ownership of all people related processes, policies and initiatives for the entire firm. You will lead an existing 12 member HR team across three locations in India. Some of your key responsibilities (not an exhaustive list) will be: 

1. Hiring - Develop long-term and short-term hiring strategies and execute them across all business units. Our hiring needs cut across senior, mid-management, junior and fresher roles. The critical performance criteria would be : 1) time to hire and 2) the ability to understand the business requirement and the business context and therefore source relevant profiles. In a typical month, we currently on-board 10-50 new hires across levels.

2. Hiring needs would also include engaging with relevant campuses, defining fresher induction and training programs and building databases and relationships that can progressively reduce time to hire for key roles.

3. Training - Use a combination of in-house and external experts to develop and execute structured training programs that are aligned to the competencies we need for our business growth.

4. Run comprehensive programs for identifying, rewarding and retaining high potential talent.

5. Employee engagement initiatives that are relevant and sustainable and are aligned with the demographic and academic profile of our employee base.

6. Deploy a performance management framework

7. Deploy best of breed HR systems across the organization that can automate HR operations and allow the HR team to focus on higher value-added activities.

8. Work actively with our business heads to develop annual plans for hiring, growth and other people initiatives.

9. Be a part of critical client conversations and engagement that rely heavily on our ability to ramp-up and retain our employees.
