Vice President/Head - Global Taxation - Banking (10-18 yrs)

Profile: Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and drive the global process model for the DT & TP stream
- Manage the team to deliver on the end to end processes
- Manage stakeholders in across GFS, countries and at group tax level
- Provide tax technical support to the team
- Execute and ensure smooth transition of new migrations
- Contribute to the design & implementation of the target operating model for GFS - Tax CoE
Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and be able to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to lead and motivate team
- Ability to work closely with teams from various departments and all levels of management
Technical skills:
- Strong multi-jurisdictional tax technical knowledge preferably in a banking industry
- Hands on experience as a reviewer for Tax compliance and reporting processes
- Experience in PeopleSoft, transaction processing systems and related software
- Proficiency in MS Office functionality
Qualifications
- Professional Accounting or Tax Qualifications
Experience -
- More than 10+ years of experience in Tax, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in multi jurisdiction tax compliance and reporting in Industry (preferably banking)
- Hands on experience in execution of transition of tax processes
- Strong understanding of accounting systems, transaction processing systems and related software
- Good track record in leading a team of high performing tax professionals
