Job Title: Vice President and General Manager of India POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President and General Manager for India will oversee and manage all aspects of the business for offices in Hyderabad and Pune. This top-level leader will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer, and other key leaders globally to ensure the strategic needs of the business are being met. This person offers thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution; provides insightful data to guide decision-making and provides proactive solutions. They will manage a variety of strategic and long-range projects across multiple lines of the business. This role is responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, and employee engagement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides executive leadership for all aspects of the business for India; in collaboration with global management - Generates strategies and practices associated with the goals of the organization creating higher ROI and optimization of workflow. Coordinating and directing activities that are consistent with established policies, goals, and objectives. - Consults with key stakeholders to determine user needs, reporting requirements, and areas where procedures need streamlining in a high-growth environment - Provides guidance and mentorship to team - Responsible for development of a collaborative, employee-centric culture for India which creates strong multi-national teamwork - Responsible for creating and subsequently maintaining a strong performance in a highly matrixed environment - Researches both strategic and tactical employee service issues and recommends changes to programs/philosophy as appropriate. Leads implementation efforts, project management, and coordination with other teams as necessary, for any approved initiatives. - Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to policy, procedure and administration - Teams with HR (Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, etc.) globally to ensure that executive and broad-based programs are aligned and support individual, business unit and corporate performance goals.
