Vice President - Financial System Operations - BFSI (12-19 yrs)

Key Accountabilities

The core responsibility of the role is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Group planning & Reference Data systems; RAPID, OPTIMUS, DRM, MDM to mention a few

- Key involvement in designing & implementing the effective operational support protocols for Optimus & DRM and embed the processes within the off-shore support team.

- Key involvement in the design, and subsequent technical delivery, of the Group Finance MI (GFMI) planning system (Optimus) & reference strategic roadmap.

- In conjunction with the MIS team, lead the transition of Optimus & DRM from Project mode into RTB mode.

- Key involvement in the overall user support model onshore and offshore.

- In conjunction with the MIS team, manage, coordinate and deliver the on-going Optimus & DRM change/improvement programme across the Optimus stakeholder network.

- Supporting the implementation of strategy and policy issues by involvement in development/change and/or advice to other technical areas and making recommendations to improve procedures and working practices

- Manage governance and control framework surrounding the Hyperion application (Optimus & DRM).

- Management of Legacy systems awaiting integration as per the GFMI Strategy.

Person Specification

Knowledge of Finance

- Planning systems and Hierarchy management systems

- Working knowledge in Hyperion technology preferably planning, Essbase and DRM

Education

Essential

- Graduate/Masters with a professional degree or equivalent level of experience

Experience

Essential

- Exclusive experience and knowledge of Hyperion Planning, Essbase & any reference data management tool.

- Experience of managing projects involving significant systems and/or process change, including testing, reconciliation, user acceptance and post-implementation review/support.

- Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

- Experience of working with complex, interdependent technology systems.

- Experience of working on own initiative and/or in small teams with minimum supervision.

- Experience of working within major financial services organisations.
