Vice President - Financial Reporting - Bank/Financial Services

Our client is a global bank and financial services with operations across the globe. As part of global operations, they are actively seeking an experienced individual to be part of their Financial and Regulatory team to manage multiple asset classes. This is a senior role, managing teams in multiple locations and extensive interaction with other businesses and senior management in the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Production and review of financial statements for Hedge Fund and Mutual Fund clients.

- Financial Statement consolidated reviews in accordance with accounting and regulatory disclosure requirements - IFRS & US GAAP.

- Audit and resource planning with internal parties and for financial reporting teams

- Evaluate GAAP and IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations on Fund Accounting practices.

- Providing strategic support to business leaders.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- At least 13+ years of relevant Financial Reporting, Financial Accounting, Fund Accounting and Audit experience.

- CA / CPA / MBA (Finance)

- Experience in Team management, performance reviews and setting objectives.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of all primary GAAPS - Irish/UK, IFRS, US GAAP

- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role

- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output
