Vice President - Financial Reporting - Bank

Job Description :

- Timely closure of books and timely and accurate submission of financial data for group consolidation

- End to end accountability for Financial Reporting as per IFRS

- Provide leadership to the team through ongoing engagement, appropriate training and coaching interventions and facilitating transparent communication including with stakeholders.

- Strong operations background with a financial institution with a good understanding of the accounting environment and the requirements (IFRS)

- Experience in a controllership role including designing and maintaining control frameworks for high risk processes and a good understanding of the SoX environment

- Good understanding of banking productions (Retail & Wholesale) and the accounting systems

- Supporting the preparation and review of primary statements, notes and other disclosures in the Annual Report

- Accounts and Interim Report including providing analytical review and commentary and undertaking stakeholder management across various businesses and functions.
