VP - Financial Planning and Analysis (Finance & Strategy)

Person will be responsible for managing revenue reporting, planning, business finance, strategy, reporting, and policy management along with regulatory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning / Business Finance. Help business in RFPs or data for negotiation. Reporting and audits for revenues, and initiatives for collectibles.

- Strategic planning for business expansion. Industry, market and insurer analysis. Branch and Segment profitability with periodic internal MIS. Identify and implement new ideas and strategies for growth, new product/ service initiatives, market & technology differentiation, improvement in processes and operational efficiencies. Understanding industry / competitive landscape.

- Manage regional reporting in the global regional formats in coordination with APAC teams. Work on quarterly business review (QBR) and submissions.

- Revenue closure with accounts. Systems understanding to prepares schedules/ reports. Regular forecasting. Monitor and report monthly numbers against the budget.

- Actively participate in business reviews, as required. Coordinate with business teams for tracking/forecasting of revenues. Policy management (Oracle/ eGlobal) and revenues recon. Migration of ops tools.

- System administration and full utilization of the software by improving automation. Prepare ad- hoc reports, presentations, recons and trackers. Support CFO to achieve wider team objectives.

- Track and report metrics for key parameters (KPIs) such as sales conversion, renewal and collection efficiency, lost analysis, service effectiveness, direct cost & segmental analysis, competitive benchmarking, performance measures and team KPIs etc. Track macro updates.

The candidate should have:

Work Experience: 8- 11 years; preferably from Insurance/ broking or regulated financial service organizations, or at a minimum have a service industry experience. CA / MBA from tier 1/2 college.

Individual contributor and thinker, pro- active, process oriented, and a team player with an understanding of systems. Ability to interact with business teams is essential.
