VP FINANCE

- Formulate the business plan and budgets in alignment with business objectives of the entity and its subsidiaries

- Review and update appropriate financing plan (debt / internal accruals / equity) and obtain necessary approvals of the board(s) and shareholders as appropriate

- Raising debt / equity as per the approved business / financing plans at favorable terms and conditions and maintaining best relations with financial institutions and shareholders

- Play a key role as member of the senior management team to formulate strategy and future plans of the company

- Institutionalize the system for cash and fund management in the company

- Institutionalize financial risk assessment mechanisms and formulate financial risk policy

- Responsible for the consolidated statutory, internal and financial audits for the company and subsidiaries ensuring best practices of audit management and governance standard around audit and reporting on a timely basis

- Formulate GAAP (India and abroad) accounting policies and internal controls required to ensure cost reduction by monitoring and controlling the variance to the budgeted cost

- Control cost of production vis- vis business plan, highlighting the major variances on weekly, monthly basis

- Exercise strong financial control to optimize Inventory liquidation, reducing ageing stocks, tracking export pricing & minimizing rejections.

- Work very closely with the leadership team members to compile and present detailed Management Information System with analysis of variances and profitability position

- Ensure strict adherence of SAP and other financial tools from internal and external sources

- Overview the tax planning for the company - evaluate opportunities to reduce applicable taxes

- Supervise vendor management system for on time payment, periodical reconciliation to avoid single source relationships

- Work closely with the procurement team to monitor best practices, optimal expenditure planning, reduce overheads,
