The VP Finance is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Principal accountabilities are:

- Planning/Develop financial and tax strategies

- Manage the capital required and budgeting processes

- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction

- Operations/Facilitate credit rating of the company

- Manage the treasury function Manage cash flow

- Implementing budgeting process across the organization

- Oversee secretarial functions/Oversee legal issues

- Facilitate tax planning/Implement operational best practices

- Facilitate in Acquisition of new business, merger, joint venture to ensure successful transition with clarity in terms of business deal as also pay back period as per plan.

- Supervise in the event of acquisition due diligence by appropriate 3rd party and play significant role to negotiate acquisitions and joint ventures.

Internal Audit - Strengthen and oversee internal audit function.

- Financial Information

- Oversee the issuance of financial information

- Report financial results to the board of directors and contribute in strategic decision by the board of directors.

- Risk Management

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the organization

- Manage and monitor all legal issues (arbitration, legal, civil, criminal) of the company

- Construct and monitor reliable control systems

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies

- Create, manage and continuously update risk mitigation for each and every project

- Funding

- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

- Arrange for financing

- Ensure interest cost is maintain below prescribed limit

- Forecast future business financial needs and prearrange capital accordingly

- Constantly review and monitor current portfolio of funds from different sources

- Identify and add new modes and sources of funding

- Maintain banking relationships Maintain rating agencies relationship

- Maintain Third party (Auditors, Independent Directors, ROC, Others) Relationship
