Job Purpose :

Provide financial leadership to the FTTX business while ensuring compliance with planning, accounting and reporting guidelines established by the centralized FC&A functions

Accountabilities :

No. Key Accountabilities :

- Responsible for business partnering with the Jio FTTX business head to ensure world class FC&A support to the business and to ensure growth as per business plans.

- Responsible for owning and ensuring proper and timely closure of the Trial balance, P/L statement etc. for the FTTX line business across all geography operations of Jio, in conjunction with the Jio Finance Controller

- Monitor, control and direct the implementation of business plans from a financial perspective for the FTTX business of Jio

- Ensure completion of the budgeting and control activities as per the deployed SPOG frameworks for the FTTX Business by the State and NHQ FP&A teams (e.g. sales planning, overhead expense plan, annual & rolling business plans)

- Responsible for providing guidance to the State FCLTs and ensuring the timely planning and budgeting of network projects in line with processes detailed by the central SPOG SMEs

- Ensure end to end Commercial finance support through the State FC&A teams for all go to market activities (e.g. building acquisition, dealer commission, partner payment etc.) as per business plans and within cost projections

- Ensure tracking of overall financial health of the FTTX operations across defined financial metrics based on models and frameworks developed by the SPOG (Business (F&M) FC&A). Periodically develop and present root cause analysis for performance variances.

- Oversee the embedded FP&A Lead for the FTTX business to ensure analysis of business-wise plan and product-wise profitability analysis and other reports for aiding decision making of the business

- Ensure providing finance support to the FTTX business marketing and product management teams, in budgeting and costing and through financial inputs in areas like pricing, promotions etc.

- Drive optimum utilization of the financial accounting and reporting systems across the FTTX line business organization in conjunction with the SPOG team for Overall BPM and Process Automation

- Work with the centralized functions to ensure compliance in terms of overall guidelines for Taxation, Audit and reporting

- Ensure talent development for the team through ongoing capability building initiatives such as training, coaching and mentoring

- Ensure succession planning is embedded in the hiring and talent management processes across all levels

Experience & Educational Requirements :

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

- CA/ICWA/MBA Finance

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE :

- 15 - 20 years of FC&A experience

Desirable :

- 7 years of experience in Telecom sector
