Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning to drive sustainable growth.

- Monitor financial performance, ensure cost efficiency, and optimize capital allocation.

- Develop financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

2. MIS & Financial Reporting

- Build and maintain a robust Management Information System (MIS) for internal reporting.

- Prepare investor decks, board reports, and financial dashboards for key stakeholders.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, including P&L analysis and cash flow projections.

3. Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization

- Develop financial KPIs to measure and enhance operational efficiency.

- Partner with business teams to improve profitability and cash flow management.

- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

- Ensure strict compliance with Company Law, SEBI, RBI, and other financial regulations.

- Stay updated on evolving governance and regulatory requirements.

- Manage statutory audits and liaise with auditors to maintain financial transparency.

5. Taxation & Risk Management

- Oversee direct & indirect tax matters, including GST, income tax, and transfer pricing.

- Mitigate financial and legal risks through proactive tax and regulatory planning.

- Manage insurance, treasury operations, and financial risk exposures.

6. Invoicing & Collections

- Establish a strong billing, invoicing, and collections framework to streamline revenue operations.

- Optimize working capital cycles by improving receivables and payables management.

- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial reconciliation in line with policies.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Legal & HR teams to ensure smooth business operations and compliance.

- Support employment contracts, ESOP structuring, and corporate governance initiatives.

- Assist in fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence processes.

Key Qualifications

- CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

- 10+ years of experience in digital banking, payments, lending, or B2B financial solutions., preferably in fast-growing startups or enterprises.

- Deep expertise in financial planning, MIS, taxation, compliance, and operational finance.

- Strong analytical mindset with experience in automation and ERP financial systems.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with investors, auditors, and legal teams.

- Experience in managing fundraising, M&A, and corporate restructuring is a plus.
