 Description - Head the finance function for a 3000+ cr chemical setup managing corporate and business finance

- Looking for a leader who can manage a team of 10+ GMs and influence and manage senior stakeholders

Our clients are a listed chemical multinational catering to both Indian and international markets. With an employee base of 2200+, global turnover of 3000+ cr and catering to more than 6000 clients, they are amongst the most reputed names in the chemical industry.

Description : 

Reporting to the CFO and the MD you will be responsible for:

- Conducting the board meetings and presenting the company financial to the board and audit committee


- Managing and guiding a team of 50+ with 10 general managers direct reporting to you


- Managing the entire accounting and finance operations of the company


- Driving strategic initiatives and future goals of the organisation along with the management


- Dealing with Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors to ensure record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies/Regulatory bodies


- Arranging/Raising funds from Bankers and Equity Financing


- Ensuring compliance of various laws and regulatory requirements applicable to the organisation


Profile :

You are a Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years of experience and have : 

- Experience of working in Chemical/FMCG/Pharmaceutical domain at Managerial/2nd level/HOD levels


- Full exposure to all the rules/regulations applicable to the listed entity


- Capability to contribute to the development and implementation of long term business strategy of the Company


- Exposure in developing financial and taxation strategies for the organisation to avail all possible tax benefits


- Enough exposure in relationship with Investment/Equity analysts and Taxation Authorities


- Sound internal control environment and corporate governance understanding


- Benchmark and implement operational best practices


- Due diligence in case of merger and acquisition


- Operational knowledge of financial IT Systems (SAP Finance Module etc)
