Job Purpose - To contribute to the attainment of the divisional business objectives by providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the divisional financial commitments are met; and developing & implementation of all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the divisions business

Key Accountabilities :

- Contribute to the achievement of division's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy and aligning the business operations with Divisional objectives

- Develop and control the division's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets, cash flows & projection are in alignment with the business goals & objectives

- Oversee the Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting of the division

- Preparation and submission of applications to Financial Institutions for financial assistance in form of Term Loans, Short Term Deposits and timely follow up for necessary sanctions, documentations and disbursement

- Oversee the preparation of the division's financial accounting process to ensure that the same is presented accurately and as per set timelines. Provide accurate and timely information for Financial and Business Review about the division's financial status and performance for decision making

- Maintain & implementation of all necessary systems, policies, procedures, authority matrix to ensure effective and efficient financial management and ensure all departments / team complies with the same

- Monitor all necessary controls to ensure that the company complies with all statutory requirements. Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the division meets its financial and legal obligations

- Carry out internal audit reviews and monitor financial effectiveness of systems and controls to ensure that the same are in accordance with terms and conditions of the contract / work order

- Perform detailed financial analysis of balance sheet and income statements to understand drivers of past and future performance, risk and opportunities

- Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing business strategy

- Core member of the contracts committee to ensure that the division obtains the best deals, competitive pricing, quality and service from external sources through hard negotiations thus ensuring that the business is benefited

- Overseeing all financial related dispute / cases before various authorities and tribunals

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Education : CA

- 15 years of total experience with last 5 years at the capacity of a Finance Controller

- Mandatory exposure of working in the Retail or Real Estate sector

- Should have designed business plans for maximizing the profitability & developed the operating & financial budgets for the organization

- Should have prepared Annual Budgeting, forecasting and analysis of variances in expenses to budget

- Presently managing accounting, taxation, treasury, operational management, MIS, financial reporting and analysis, resourcing and budget planning and financial systems development

- Presently should be conducting analysis for budget vs. actual on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Analyze variances on a financial statement level and provide overall analytical reviews of financial statement fluctuations

- Recent work experience in a publicly listed company essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have interacted with institutes like SEBI, Stock exchange and RBI
