Vice President - Finance - CA - Pharma/Bio-Tech Firm (15-30 yrs)
The organisation is an established name in the Pharmaceutical and Bio - Technology space, having more than 6 manufacturing facilities and an R&D center, most of them based out of Bangalore. The organisation is currently privately held and carries a history of more than 25 years in the business.
- The organisation has intentions to go public in a year or so and would like to have a strong finance professional with a prior IPO experience.
- The position reports into the CEO and will be responsible for all the finance and accounting operations for the organisation including controls, the organisation have an aggressive plan of growth and expansion.
- They are looking for an incumbent who has the experience handling mid to large size business being in the second line of hierarchy
- A great opportunity to someone who wants to progress from a second line role to a lead, the role will require the individual to be hands on and to play a more strategic role.
- MIS reporting, Analytics and compliance will be key objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Investors
- Ensuring all Statutory and Regulatory Compliance's (local and international authorities) are met
- Decide and Maintain optimum capital structure to ensure high return on investment
- Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
- Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
- Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
- Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.
- Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances
- Individual with Attitude to succeed and mindset to achieve. .no holds bar kind of approach and leads with example.
Requirement :
- A qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years experience and not more than 25 years.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Grounded and simple personality with attitude to learn
