Vice President - Finance Business Partner - BFSI (14-22 yrs)

Key accountability and decision ownership:

Financial Planning :

- Lead Service Line's planning process and develop stretch financial plans

- Drive and support the achievement of business plans and forecasts

- Support, liase and lead the financial plans, efficiency targets and reporting

- Lead and manage the analysts assigned for the Service Lines to produce robust forecasts for traditional and commercial models that achieves the overall business objectives

Reporting & analysis :

- Deliver incisive and timely reporting of financial and operational results to the Service Line, providing explanations and analysis that trigger corrective action

- Interpret results and identify trends proactively, highlighting issues, working in partnership with the Service Line to plan appropriate actions to mitigate impact against the risk

- Drive business and commercial effectiveness through the Service Line's cost base and revenue

- Work cross site with controllers dedicated to CFSL Service Line, manage consolidation and present performance as a single unit

Business Cases& Value Reporting :

- Establish, review and direct the value reporting of the CFSL function

- Lead the preparation of business cases by providing competitive rate cards, establishing service catalogue and engaging all relevant stakeholders in other departments and locations

- Conduct post investment review to measure achievement of business value, compared to the business plan

- Approve commercial bids on behalf of the Head of Finance / CFO to limits set in governance process (delegated from Head of Finance)

Business Partner :

- Provide insightful, timely and value added input so that the Service Line management teams as key contributor

- Work across locations and if needed functionality to ensure that plans are integrated

- Develop the credibility with CFSL management providing financial acumen and counsel where required

Management information :

- Support the Head of Finance in the monthly performance review and runs the business unit review

- Ensure timely delivery of insightful management information to the business unit in order to support effective decision making

- Monitor variances against Budget/Forecasts and propose corrective actions with the support of the business unit and heads with a special emphasis on cost efficiency plans

- Ensure the monitoring of targets

Key performance indicators:

- Viewed as a key provider of financial counsel in all CFSL decisions

- Execution of financial plans and delivery of financial results embedded in Service Delivery costs, Revenue &Recharges and Value

- Timely & consistent delivery of challenging, but realistic financial plans to the FP&A teams

- Recurring performance review with the Service Line and timely execution of corrective actions

- Delivery of regular & ad-hoc reports (such as risk exposure, what if modelling, etc)

- Closer working relationship with Digital teams that ensure delivery of key financial parameters driving success for CFSL
